Capital Mag is an online magazine (www.capitalmag.com) that focuses on cultural practices and artistic movements that are not covered by the mainstream media. We value alternative viewpoints and perspectives on issues relevant to Canadian and international artists, writers and critical observers of culture.

Capital Mag is dedicated to:

- supporting emerging and established artists and writers

- giving voice to alternative voices and issues

- covering cutting-edge cultural and artistic movements

- being an engaging and interactive web presence

- promoting, empowering and contributing to Canadian culture

Capital Mag, published online 12 times a year, is transparent and fact-driven in our editorial content, and encourages contributions from both emerging and established writers and artists to each of our four sections: Film, Music, Mash and Critical Culture.

The word í¢â‚¬Å“Capitalí¢â‚¬  has meant many things to us over the years. Today we are interested in information capital. As global culture grows, this so-called commodity has shown itself to be priceless, and Capital Mag is dedicated to creating its own currency. We aspire to promote the value of cultural movements, of peopleí¢â‚¬â„¢s passions, interests and expressions, and most importantly, to demonstrate the worth of the story untold.
